Best season to do the trekking in Nepal.

Nepal is the adventurous country in the world which offers varieties of adventure activities. Trekking, Hiking, Expedition, Peak Climbing and other adventure activities such as Mountain Biking, Rafting, Paragliding, Bungee Jumping etc.  Among them, trekking is one of the most popular adventure activity in Nepal; because Nepal offers thousand of trekking trail.

 

Everest region – Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest Three Pass Trek, Gokyo valley trek, Chola pass trek and much more. Annapurna Region – Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Upper Mustang Trek, Lower Mustang Trek, Mardi Himal Trek, and Ghorepani Poon hill trek etc. Langtang region – Langtang Valley Trek, Langtang Gosaikunda trek, Tamang Heritage Trek, and Langtang Gosaikunda and Helambu Trek etc. Other region trekking trail like Kanchenjunga Trek, Dolpo Trek, Manaslu Circuit Trek, Tsum Valley Trek etc.

 

Nepal is that country in the world where all the four seasons of weather.

1: Spring – March, April, and May.

2: Summer – June, July, and August.

3: Autumn – September, October, and November.

4: Winter – December, January, and February.

In this four season is good to do the trek in the different part of Nepal but in spring and autumn.

Spring – The temperature is quite warm in lowlands while moderator in higher altitudes. In spring clear weather that is why plenty of opportunities to have breathtaking vistas of the mountain peak.  It is also time for flowers to blossom and the national flower of Nepal – Rhododendrons sweeps the ascending altitudes with magnanimous colors and beauty. Specially trekking in Everest region, Annapurna region, Langtang region, Mustang region etc.

Autumn – This is the best time to visit in Nepal and do a trek in Himalaya. This season is between summer and winter. The weather is highly pleasant so the view of everything in Himalaya is amazing. This is the peak season for trekking in Nepal. And this is the season of festivities as Nepalese celebrates the biggest Hindu festival Dashain and Tihar.  Trekking trails like Mount Everest Base Camp Trek, Mount Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Circuit Trek, Langtang Valley is full of tourist.  Manaslu, Kanchenjunga, Dolpo, and Mustang is quite less tourist so better to try in that area.

Winter – The weather is cold in lowland and very cold and icy in Highland but the sky is clear with occasional snowfalls at higher elevations. This is the time if you like to less peoples in trekking trail especially Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and Annapurna Circuit trekking trail. At this time need to face cold and snow along the way.

Summer – In summer is rainy season in Nepal so this is not that good trekking period in Nepal still if you are looking for the trek in Nepal. Upper Mustang and Upper Dolpo region is best trekking trail.
