Nepal a small country between two giants China and India. A tiny country but carries all the four-season,(Spring, Summer, Autumn, and winter) and the different kinds of weather (Hot in the Tarai region, nice and warm in hilly regions, and cold in the mountain regions) But it is naturally and culturally rich. Naturally, as everyone knows the crown of the world Mt. Everest and other more than 1100 mountain peaks. Culturally the holy land of birthplace of Lord Budhha. And also this is a country that has many different ethnic groups who has their own language, costumes, traditional, and cultural aspects. These all things make Nepal is a unique country in the world to travel to once in your lifetime. Here I am writing what not to do in Nepal when you visit Nepal. If you forget to bring those things your holiday might be miserable.

 

1: DO NOT ONLY PLAN FOR TREKKING AND MOUNTAINEERING ACTIVITIES

This mountain land offers one of the best trekking destinations in the world including Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp. Also, the biggest expeditions such as the Everest expedition, Kanchenjunga Expedition, and many more. And the tour activities for the sightseeing in the ancient and historical places. But when you plan a holiday trip to Nepal, don’t only plan for trekking and mountaineering activities. Here you also can do the best bungee jumping, paragliding, rafting, mountain biking, and other adventure activities as well. This tiny land is an agricultural country in the world because more than 80% of the population is depending on agriculture. So that here is a great chance to exchange or experiment the agricultural developments.

 

2: DO NOT WEAR SHORT CLOTHES WHEN YOU VISIT PUBLIC PLACES SPECIALLY TEMPLES AND MONASTERIES.

Nepal has its own unique cultural values. Different ethnic groups have their own style of cultural and religious values. The first thing is to respect the other’s culture and tradition. The second reason is don’t be a person in the mass to whom everybody stares and hates. If you respect others and their culture they will respect you. Nepal is one of that country in the world who values own cultural, traditional, and religious aspects.

 

3: DO NOT JUST FOREIGN FOODS IT HAS VARIETIES OF DELICIOUS LOCAL FOOD

Nepal is a country of multi castes, multi-languages, multi traditions, and multi food. Here you can test varieties of food that belong to different communities. Although you can eat your own foods in the hotel and restaurants.  Daal Bhat is one of the most popular food among foreigners. Thakali are the best  Daal Bhat makers. Because Thakali Dal Bhat set is very popular in Nepal. Similarly, MoMo is another fast food and the most popular food in Nepal. Momo means kind of dumplings which can get veg and non-veg. If you a meat lover you can try Newari food items.

 

4: DO NOT GO TO THE PUBLIC TOILETS WITHOUT TAKING TOILET PAPER

Do not go to the public toilets without taking toilet paper this is another thing that what not to do in Nepal. Nepal is a country where you can do an open toilet when you are in the mountain and other hilly regions. But in the cities, if you want to use a public toilet you have to bring toilet paper because in most of the public toilets there you can not find toilet paper. If you don’t take toilet paper with you you may have to face a big problem. Because there might not GOOD water to clean your …… So please don’t go public toilet without toilet paper.
