Winter: December, January, and February:- In winter, the weather condition is quite cold in Ghorepani and Poon Hill. Sometimes snow in Ghorepani & Poon Hill during the winter period can be problematic but the view of the gorgeous mountain peaks is absolutely amazing.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Trek preparation.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Day 4: Pokhara to Nayapul by Jeep and trek to Tikhedhunga
Day 5: Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani
Day 6: Sunrise view from Poon Hill and trek to Ghandruk
Day 7: Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive Pokhara.
Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu
Day 9: Visit an Orphanage in Kathmandu
Day 10: fly back home.
Detail Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu.
Arrival at Kathmandu airport. Our team member will be greeting you and will arrange transportation to the Hotel.
Day 2: Trek preparation.
After breakfast, you will meet up with the guide and porters in the Hotel. One of our team members will brief you about the trek. This is the preparation day before the trek so if you need to buy anything please buy today. Overnight at Hotel and Breakfast included.
Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara.
Driving duration: 7 to 8 hours.
In the morning at 6:30 am, you will be picked up from your hotel and will be transferred at 7 am to Pokhara with 7-8 hours drive. This drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara is on a deluxe tourist bus. Driving to Pokhara from Kathmandu on the left side of Trisuli River looks quite scary sometimes. Trisuli river is one of the most popular rafting destinations in Nepal. You will reach Pokhara and check-in your hotel. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit Phewa Lake. Overnight at Hotel and Breakfast included.
Day 4: Pokhara to Nayapul drive and trek to Ulleri.
Driving duration: 2 hours
Walking duration: 4 to 5 hours
After breakfast in Pokhara, you will drive one and a half hour to Nayapul. Getting off at Nayapul, you will start to walk to Ulleri on the bank of Modi Khola at the first part till Birethanti. Birethanti, where your permit and TIMS card are checked by the official, is the official entry point of the Annapurna Conservation Area. You will follow the motor road until Hille. Sometimes traveling in the moving jeep makes your first day of walking quite unpleasant. After lunch in Hille, you have to climb 3500 steps to get in Ulleri. From Ulleri you can see the Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountain peak and dramatic landscapes. Overnight at Lodge/Guesthouse. Full board meal – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Day 5: Ulleri to Ghorepani.
Walking duration: 4 to 5 hours
You just climbed 90% of the 3500 steps so you still need to climb 10% today. This means you have to start climbing right away. Walking through the rainforest of Rhododendron and other plants keep your body cool and calm to get in Ghorepani. Ghore means Horse and Pani means Water in the Nepali language. Ghorepani is located on the elevation of 2880m, offering the spectacular view of Dhaulagiri range, Tukche, Dhampus, Annapurna South and more. Overnight at Lodge/Guesthouse. Full board meal – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Day 6: Sunrise view from Poon Hill and trek to Ghandruk.
Walking duration: 7 to 8 hours.
You will wake up early in the morning to set out on a hike to Poon Hill (3210m). Poon Hill is one of the most traveled places in Nepal because this place offers the best sunrise view in Nepal. From Poon Hill, you are going to encounter the Dhaulagiri range, Annapurna range, and Machhapuchhere mountain peaks and amazing landscapes and don’t miss the best sunrise view. After spending some time there, you will ascend to Ghorepani, pack your bags, eat breakfast and trek to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is also one of the must-visit places by internal and external tourist in Nepal. Overnight at Lodge/Guesthouse. Full board meal – Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner included.
Day 7: Ghandruk to Nayapul and drive Pokhara.
Walking duration: 5 hours.
Driving duration: 2 hours`.
Last day of walking. After breakfast, you will follow the trail to Nayapul as you mostly descend and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel. Meal – Breakfast, and Lunch included.
Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu.
Driving duration: 7 to 8 hours.
Drive back to Kathmandu by deluxe tourist bus.
Day 9: Free day in Kathmandu or Visit in an Orphanage in Kathmandu.
This is the free, relaxing and shopping day in Kathmandu. If you wish to visit an orphanage, one of our members will take you there.
Day 10: fly back home.
